Nominate the "Hardest Fall" 2008

[NOTE: 2008 POLLING CLOSED! Revised post reflects all nominees for the 2008 awards]

The bigger they are the harder they fall! Especially loudmouthed, obnoxious politicos who get caught with their hand in the cookie jar! I think we're sick of "do as we say not as we do," so I think its time we do as they did and plaster their asses on a virtual registry of shame.

My inaugural nominee is-- Mark "The Page Master" Foley!
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mark_Foley_scandal
Marky Mark was on the NCMEC committee where he will be "sorely missed" (we can only guess which body part will be sorest). He help push that Abominable Walsh Act through Congress. All the while he pined for a teenage congressional page to "sharpen his pencil."
His excuse? He's an "alcoholic," and he was "molested by a priest" as a child. Well I was molested, physically abused, and abandoned as a kid, but I don't use it as an excuse for my crime. Of course Foley had about 500 or so enablers, affectionately known as the US Congress, who happily swept it under the rug for years. Which of course, means pass more sex crime laws to save face. Did I mention he's not facing charges? I'm setting the bar high, y'all.

Let us not forge disgraced Ohio AG Mark Dann (apparently he thought AG stood for ass-grabber) who pushed the Atrocious Walsh Act throug Ohio. Later it was discover not just he, but his WHOLE OFFICE embroiled in a sex scandal, with affairs and sexual harassment! To top it off, he refused to resign for almost a whole month, dspite repeated requests and loss of endorcement from his OWN political party!

Lets not Forget Gov. Eliot Spitzer of New York, who made prostitution a registerable offense, then got busted soliciting prostitutes for sex.

And I-Da-HO Sen. Larry Craig, anti-gay equality advocate, for his toe-tapping good time inside a public bathroom. Guess he took a "wide stance" on more than congresssional issues if you catch my drift LOL
